my most embarissing moment....hmmm. got it.before a parade i was biking with some friends and i fell pretty hard and hurt my knee. the bad part was every once in a while my knee like gave out and i would fall. i decided to go to the parade anyway thinkin my knee would be ok. so im marching in the parade n since in the section leader, im the first person on the left side. so anyway, we're stopped in front of the judges stand to do our formation n stuff n the percussion judge is right in front of me looking at the section. then, as luck would have it, my knee gave out n i went to the ground. it was pretty bad. lol

Freshmen year, I marched top bass and it was our first home football game. We had just had our home show the week before and for some reason the people painting the field decided to put numbers on every 5 yards for the show. Well the next week at the football game i had failed to notice that there were no more numbers every 5 yards. During the opener the we had one drill set where i was near the front sideline on the 45 and the rest of the basses were behind me on the 45. Well going into this set I just caught the 4 of the 45 out of the corner of my eye. So i went to it. The next move was a push back field before the brass solo. Well it just so happens that 4 was for the 40. I ended up marching right into some trombone players right as they began the solo. Luckily the colorguard had a terrible show and got reamed out instead of me.

my most embarassing moment, was probly at a winter drumline competition this year, i had a solo on tenors. The way the drill was during my solo was a huge arc with the drumline spanning the entire back side of the floor with me in the midde of it so i was very noticable. well at the end of my solo i decided to do a stick flip, i had done it a thousand times perfectly at rehersal so i decided to throw it in that show. well i dropped it. right in the middle of the floor with no one around me, i didnt do that again until much later when i built up the confidence to try it again

This didn't happen to me but I took part in doing it. One of the old bass drummers was a little slow in the head so we always messed with him. We pantsed him while he was marching one time and he just stood there for a few minutes with his bass drum till our section leader stopped laughing and told him to pull them up. Then we told him to bring black pants when we were supposed to bring white. He thought the whole drumline was wearing black. We took a trip to Memphis, Tennessee and told him we were in Memphis, Indiana. It was the greatest year ever. =]

well there was a football game a few years ago when our band was really small and our band director didnt trust the completely new drumline with marching so we stayed in the pit. well, one kid told us we didnt need our bass drum harnesses, and we figured that was fine, out drums were on stands in the pit. so it was an away game and we didnt have harnesses, but the director wanted us to still march the band onto the field, so we didnt do that but marching to and from the stands and the bus and such, we had to carry out drums then our director told us to play the cadence, although i think we did pretty good playing with one had while carrying bass drums, haha
then completly un-drum related, we were on the buses at championships 2 years ago and one senior saw a golden opportunity to pants me, unfortunately i was wearing boxers that were a bit big on me and they came down too, i was lucky to have an empty seat next to me and i quicky jumped out of the asile. then this year, another girl saw the same opportunity and did a repeat of the same, boxers and all, this time no empty seat, the girl saw my junk, quite embarrasing
