East Coast Jazz Drum & Bugle Corps:
4 Marimba with concert toms and suspended cymbals mounted
4 Vibraphone with concert toms and suspended cymbals mounted
1 xylophone with bongos and suspended cymbal
1 set of tympani
2 concert bass
1 rack with snare, cymbals, timbales, hit-hat, etc.
1 set of conga
1 gong
in 2004 we also had a Sabian O-Ring (think of a thin gong with the center cut out) and also a trap set

2 five octave rosewood marimbas 1 gold vibraphone 1 crappy silver Yamaha vibraphone that we have had forever 1 xylophone 1 black and white marimba (our director calls it a Marimbaphome, not really sure what it is) 2 sets of toms 2 suspended cymbals mounted on every keyboard instument a rack with 1 set of toms, 1 suspended cymbal gong concert bass triange ect.

Sounds like either a non-graduated marimba or a xylorimba (sometimes known as xylo-marimba or marimba-xylophone)

If you're going to be arranging, especially at the HS level, I understand the need to know what you have to work with. However, by doing that you are limiting yourself creatively.
If you're just starting out with arranging or composing, score what you hear first, then adjust as needed to fit the ensemble. This will help you in the long run.
Just to give you an idea, this is how I set up my front ensembles.
Outdoor- 2-3 Marimbas, 2 vibes, 1-2 Xylos, 1 bell set, chimes, 4-5 tympani, 2 concert basses, 1 Synth, a bass player and a percussion rack. All the mallet instruments have suspended cymbals mounted on them, a few have effect-type toms on them. Concert toms are on the rack.
Indoor- 2 marimbas, 2 vibes, 1-2 synths, bass player, possibly chimes, 2 percussion racks, drumset.

I had to do inventory of all our band's percussion instruments this year. Right now we have 3 marimbas (and one that simply fell apart inside one of our trailers), 3 xylos in varying condition, 2 vibes, 2 chimes, 3 orchestra bell kits, 4 sets of timpani, 4-8 concert snares (they disappear and reappear quite a bit), 6 concert toms, some jimbales, congas, bongos etc. and a lot of other general percussion stuff. The problem is that a lot of our instruments are getting to the point where they need to be replaced (for instance, the marimba that fell apart) We were supposed to have in several new marimbas, vibes, sound equipment, electric keyboards etc. with a huge grant, but our director is putting off ordering the equipment for us.

One of the HS pit's I teach uses
1 Marimba
1 Vibe
1 Xylophone
1 Chimes
1 Glock
Set of 4 Timpani
Rack (with 3 concert toms and cymbals)
Cymbals mounted on mallet instruments
Gong
Bass Drum
And this year we are buying another marimba, another vibraphone, hopefully some crotales and a 2.5 octave xylo to mount on a mallet instrument
