I love the Slimpad without the laminate. I like it without it because I tend to tune my heads a bit softer than most people.

Real feels are great, but I wouldn't really want to use one for an extended period of time now that I've been exposed to the Heavy Hitters.

I like my double sided Real Feel and Slimpad. They both have their advantages.

I like my old Remo practice pad. I like how it has a rim so you can practice rim shots and its nice. Only thing that I don't like is its pretty loud for a practice pad.

I like my HQ Real Feel pad for snare, and I've played on different tenor pads but the heavy hitter is defnitly the best for tenor pads.

does anyone have the real feel drum corps pad? it has a center section that plays like a table top for the kevlar feel. It gets you used to playing on Kevlar and is pretty loud.
I just got a Vic Firth double-sided pad and it's great

I used to use the Real Feel. Now I use a Xymox pad. I love it! Plus it has little beads on the underside, so it gets a snareish sound.

My favorite practice pads are the real feel double sided twelve inch pad and the heavy hitter small quadropad with laminates. I haven't tried out the Vic Firth stockpad or slimpad, but I really want to. It sounds like they're very realistic pads.

I enjoy my heavy hitter, with the laminants. My RF started to get dead a while ago, and when I switched to this, I really felt better playing.

i use the old remo because it has the rim, i just don't like how the rim starts to disentegrate after you start doing a bunch of rim shots. but that could be because mine is 30 something years old.

my favorite would have to be a(n) old real feel pad beacuase ive noticed the older they are the better they feel. but the slim pads from heavy hitter are pritty nice and i like the remo pad that turns into a drum its kinda kewl.
