Heres a video of the black fire drumline hailing from my hometown Brooklyn NY....They kick are corps and showstyle drumline that I believe no other drumline can match. They are number 1 in the United States. Members of the C.R.E.A.M. Drum Corps know of these guys. Hopefully I will be playing for them someday. BTW...Cream PPL..dont try to steal our stuff because NEC is bringin that heat to BAYDA..you know what it is. http://youtube.com/watch?v=1rJWW_KqeAw&search=black%20fire

Let's see if I can pull this off... *clears throat* If ya want ta hear a fo real crunk line, da BEST line in Brooklyn, NY be da drumline of The Brooklyn Rodgerers. These guys will throw down fo anyone.
I've never heard of dis CREAM corps. OMG i wudz jus like to holla at my lil bro arthur. whats up my boy?! Do they compete in DCI? I be guessin their name be a take on Cash Rules Everythin Around Me?
Theea be no need ta throw accusations around heea. I would appreciate it if ya refrained from doin dat in da future. Thanks! - aww yea foo.Phew... did I do it? But seriously... they were pretty good. They have a lot of talent and chops, but I would say they're still far from being the best in the nation. That doesn't mean they can't keep doing what they're doing. They're playing some licks and having some fun, and that's what it's all about. PS - What was the deal with the arms of that kid that walked through the video? It looked like he was running from a bee or something.

LOL I like that little mockery thingy. Good Stuff. And when I said they are best In the nation, I sure as hell wasnt putting them in the same category as DCI drumlines...NO WAY would I try that one. But they ARE the National Showstyle drumline champions for 2005. BTW C.R.E.A.M. Stands for The Creators of Rudimental Excellence and Movement and they are a Corps worthy of praise. www.Creamdrumcorps.org

I'm not impressed, but I like it.
If there was a little more demand in the tenor part and a little more emphasis on cleanliness, especially on double stroke rolls. Near the beginning the snare line almost locked it in but it ended before they did.
Honestly, if you locked on those double stroke rolls you'd have a much stronger edge. If that roll was straight up clean, I would be cheering.

The boy in the yellow shirt on snare plays sextuplets for Norfolk State University now.
I forget what corp. he marched for. I think it was a D-II...

Yea I used to play with these guys a few years ago at Cadets of NYC. Awesome players. Boonie made BD, and I'm pretty sure Alex Blake(Snare with the yellow shirt) auditioned too. I'm not sure if he made it though I haven't spoken to those guys in a while. Harvey(snare on far left) is playing down at Texas A&M now ...or A&t. One of those schools.
Harvey and those guys always had great drumming Ideas. He actually was featured in a video for a hip hop performer doing a lot of crazy stick tricks. I'll see if I could get that link up here soon.
Either way I always knew these guys would start something like this up. It'd be nice to see them make it big somehow sometime in the future.

That's nuts, because I know Alex ripped on snare but he was always the tenor player when I was around. Amazing tenor player at that.
