I hope this is the ride forum for this.

I do believe my Dr. Beat (model DB30) is broken. It randomly shuts itself off and immediately turns itself back on when I make it start. I notice that if I lower the volume, it continues to beat as normal. However, when I turn up the volume or mess around with the count or subdivision, it turns off and on and off and on..

I theorize that it's a low battery since a lower volume must consume less battery or something like that. I'd just like some feedback for similar problems before I go out and buy a new one.

on sidenote, any tips on where I can find such a battery?

A home improvment store might carry that particular battery (Home Depot, Lowes hardware, etc.). If they don't have it I think you can order them online pretty cheap. Go here. You want the CR2032 lithium battery.
