Unfortunately, no, unless you Google "Sound of North 2005, caching ZZZ's", and somehow find a video, I could not give you anything but my word. And that year the tenors were the cleanest section, and everyone that year played clean

If you don't trust my word, that's okay. I know it's the truth, and you have your own opinion. I won't try to change that.

oh, and one more reason why I took up quads. For the 2006 season, the IU percussion director offered his assisstance with teaching the drumline, and he was a specialist in quads, having marched in drum corps and teaching with a few select groups. I took lessons from him to learn how to play the quads, and I sky-rocketed from there.

And finally, waht keeps me still playing quads. I have Green Beats 06-07 (Cavaliers audition book), and one excerpt given was the tenor ostinato/drum break at the beginning of the fourth movement of MACHINE. It took me about a month and a half to get the music playable, and another two weeks to bring up to tempo. It's my favorite thing to play on quads, and it's a real chop builder too.

I wasn't calling you a lair or anything I'd just love to see that. I wanted to start playing quads from watching the tenor player from the minicorps I played snare for last year. I still play both.

we have a 6 person drumline with no tenors, so i want to play them next season, and I can't play traditional since i broke my left wrist a few years ago, but I'm still trying trad. plus, quads have 4-6 drums to play on, like a drumset on a carrier, without snare or cymbals

Quads are not like a drum set. the approach is different, the set up of the drums are different. what you play is different. I would suggest you check out some youtube vids. buy some books, anyting about quads, soak it up. get an instructor if possible. it's possible to have a 6 member drumline and still have tenors you can go 1 1 4, if you show your band staff you have an idea of what tenors are about your chances will be better..

For me, it was a few things. The first being that is just looks sick, with all the scapes and different things. Second, is that in my opinion it is probably the most difficult instrument on the line. And i love a challenge.

How Ironic. Me too.

I play Tenors because i played bass at first, and became the best at it at my high school. So I was moved to snare, and became one of the best. So I decided that I might as well try Tenors. And I was the best at my school. But I stuck with it, because It was the best Challenge.

About the Wrist thing, I have the same problem, but I never really wanted to play snare.
