I was just wondering if someone might be able to shed some light about when certain hybrids started to come into the mainstream. Also if you know who might have came up with them or named them that would much appreciated.

well some of hybrids are named for how they sound, like chut-a-chu's. others are named for what they are like 1-2-3's and parabuzzles. as for things like cheese and grandmas and book reports.......well who really knows? I have no clue.

That's probably it.

Most of them sound like what the notes are, though. Like paradiddles, flam, herta (well, kinda).
