That was from the 2005 ESPN Converage of DCI Finals. I don't know where you could find the video.

It's in the Myspace video archive somewhere. Type in, " DCI 2005," or something.

OMG I have this thing taped on DVD! They like, have this breathing thing over this tenor players mouth, and this big thing on his back and it monitors his breathing and...stuff...

That video was from 1992 or 1993 star of indiana. The tenor player was david reeves( scv instructor, seattle cascades, tapspace composer) I talked with him about that last year. Now they might have done a new study that I didnt see, but Im sure this is the one your talking about. Hope I was some help....

That was cool how his heart rate went up when he just heard the music play, he didn't even do anything.

I've seen this before, They had it labeled weird on youtube, it was labeled " DCI athletes" or something. But If I think correctly, the average working heart rate is like, 175 or somewhere around there, with a resting pulse of about 90. Just shooting up to 120 BPM is like taking a warm up jog before he was on the feild. Then hitting 200 BPM, that's a higher heart rate then when your conditioning.

I love that, MARCHING BAND IS'NT HARD YOU JUST WALK AROUND!
My argument back is always something along the lines of "Let me strap 35 pounds to you, put you in a hot uniform, Make you stare dead forward for 11 minutes, And march a complex pattern around a football feild, without messing up"
They don't usually respond, or respond with they're opening statement, Man I hate people sometimes.

Marching band is the best sport, and its harder than all others, even though i do respect quarterbacks ever since i had to play a game in middle school as one(my o-line sucked) and got sacked 20 times .
