Make new ones

Traditions all start somewhere. Maybe you just have to be the one that starts it.

Before competitions and football games, we find the nearest men's bathroom and "beat it in the bathroom." After every warm-up we play, a freshman has to flush a toilet. Before B-ball games we go outside, warm up, and then we run around a lamp post hitting it with our sticks. (We claimed that lamp post to be ours.) lol. We also name our helmets every year. Friday after school (when there is a b-ball game) we all go out to eat at Taco Bell. Those are just a few....

Are you allowed to play during the actual games or only during tha half? Our line doesnt play at basketball games, but I think that needs to change.

They let us play at time outs, quarter changes and everyone 9in a while a quietish stand cadence. Plus we play for like a half hour before the game starts.

We try to have nic-names for all our members. It is pretty awesome.

On birthdays we sing/play happy birthday to the person as cheesy as we can. Then we all do push-ups equal to how old they are.

Also in winter line the tenors have had a secret spot that we use for sectionals for I don't know how long. The previous tenors always pass it down to the new ones and only the tenor players know where it is.

we eat at a resturant named taco express all the time. before we go on the field, we but our arms touching another person and it means good luck. we also try to have nicknames for ppl, but they usually dont stick.

We play a half time show and when there is a time-out. Were not allowed to play during the game because the coaches complain that we are too loud and that the players can't concentrate. Why don't you play at b-ball games?

Anyway back on topic... Our tradition is on the last home game while we are marching out we break as many sticks as possible. We actually had only 4 sticks for 5 snares at our last game last year (the year I graduated). Good times, good times...
