I'll tell you what... it wasn't a DCI snare individual caliber solo, but there was some sick stuff in there. It started off sort of eh, but some of the fluidity with the sticks was very impressive. I really like the stick twirl around his arm after his last 3 rim shots. I'm not sure how he did it, but it was pretty cool.

That was a tight solo. If you look to the right on youtube after you click that link you will see a great tenor solo plus a few full drumline videos that are good too.

Yeah it definitely wasn't the best I've seen, but I like the way it was structured. He started off really slow, unlike some I&E solos which just barrage you with notes. I noticed he stole some tricks from I&E and unfortunately not well. Good solo though, especially if he's used to playing straight show style.

I was going to say, did nobody catch the begining to electric wheelchair?
And, I will also have to agree with the remark about 4-6 bar phrases, The tricks were cool, but aside from that it was really nothing, a bunch of rolls connecting a bunch of 16th note tricks. a measure or so of 16th notes with one visual, then more 16ths with another.
But that thing at the end, Wow, That amazed me for some reason.

My favorite YouTube comment On the subject of a bad tenor player just to let you guys know, being a drummer, he meant to hit the rims, it's part of the effect. It changes it up a bit.
