Hello and happy new year to all side drummers....Our band has just upgraded to the hts700 and saved our hts200 for practice....We found out a bit of good info for head buying....We noticed the original Premier Cyber max and the old Tenduras fit great on the HTS 200's...But they didnt seat well at all on the new HTS700's...found out after some phone work that the HTS700 have the same rims seat dimension as the Pearl pipe snares...it is bigger than the old HTS 200's...The White max...Black Max and Tendura along with the old Cybermax would'nt last to pitch tuning for anymore than a week or two it seems...While they fit great and seemed to last on the old 200's....we had horrible luck with the tuning of the new 700's...After contacting Remo you need to use any head that is spected for the Pearl pipe series drums on the new 700's...i hope this info helps anyone having pitch tuning issues and seems to go through heads more with the new 700 drums verses the old 200 drums...Hope all are safe and well...
