how? i see it in all sorts of videos, and usually the spin is executed parallel to the stands, but i have no idea how its done. i've tried rolling it around my thumb like the pen trick, but thats good for one rotation and these guys have two or three!! are you supposed to use your fingers to rotate it all the way around like a right hand regular stick spin? so the question is

how do you accomplish spinning a left hand traditional stick two or three times without going around your thumb?

the snare do it multiple times during pauses, and right at the begginning they do four taps and the fourth one is a left spin and i've got no idea how they do it. theres a nice close up of it at 4:16 but it doesn't show much on how to to it cause its so fast.

Just do the ole rock n' roll spin on your left hand in between your middle and ring fingers instead of doing it in between your index and middle fingers.

Do this backwards.
