I don't know, for some reason, I've never really likened to use the bass pad. I prefer to put a real bass on a stand and just play it, but the pad is a good option if you need to play quietly or don't have access to a drum all the time.

Wow, Perfect timing man. Steveweissmusic.com, Try and order before June 30'th.

There is a vic firth sale going on, The HH bass pad is 33$. (Well, ok 32.95$) Sure is a lot better then 54$.

I have one of these and i let someone borrow it and they never returned it. I also had problems with cymbal stands. Its a great pad and worth the money.
