That's pretty cool, man. Speaking of small lines, my line this year is 3 bass, 1 tenor, 1 snare (me), and 1 cymbal.

I think the total count is 24 people. 6 drumline, 4 guard (useless and should play brass), and 14 horns. This all includes marching 8th graders.
Anyway we usually write our own cadences, but as of late the instructor has been writing them, and I wrote one this year. The line hasn't seemed to care, though...

I'm saying OUR guard is useless. Drum Corps wouldn't be all THAT exciting without it, but here, it's just kinda eh. They work hard in care in drum corps and other places, but I guess that's the real difference.
Well, if they applied themselves it would be a different story. Sometimes it looks so bad I'd rather have them playing horns. Other times it's ok, but that's rarely. They're too worried about looking good. Seriously, for a SMALL high school marching band that doesn't do competitions or anything, is it necessary to get new flagline unis every year? And "warm-ups". They don't do anything in the first place.
