Drum because it's fun, if you can't have fun drumming then don't. My motivation is the feeling you get when you play a hot lick or w/e, it's just amazing!

yea. thats really what its about..is the fun in it. but kits are more fun within a band. i've been a couple so maybe thats what im really missing. >.<

but back on topic to the dude who posted this. eventually you're gonna miss it so much, you'll wonder why you ever got bored w/ it, and you'll pick it up again as if you hadn't ever been bored with it.

haha yes i agree. or was that directed at me? really either way i agree. i love drums and always have.. but sometimes it helps to have some extra inspiration other than that fact to keep goin.

Another fun thing to do is grab a pad and some sticks, and drum along to some of your favorite songs that have a fun tempo.My favorite is it's tricky by run dmc, lol
