Are amazing. If you can play clean with those, you can play clean with anything.
I <3 my tree trunk sticks with no taper whatsoever!

I am a personal artist and product development/tester for Silverfox. I have been since 2002.
I will say this about them in comparison to vfs or promark they last a lot longer. They are currently working on upgrading new ideas on their marching stick and mallets lines. The sticks are seriously perfect match. The wood is very consistent. Currently working with new tenor and bass options mostly. One minor flaw in a product all the way to a lable smudge they do not send them to be sold on the market. I actually buy them up....
My high School line uses the 1005 and 1001 on snares, 4sx ultra tips, CS ultra tips and 1005 sticks on tenors, There bass mallets are comparable to the rest of the manufacturers just a side of warning the biggest bass mallet is HUGE it is heavy and I would recommend the 2nd to largest mallet for your bottom bass.
I personally test all the new prototype marching sticks and mallets, offer design ideas and such etc. If you have questions please let me know. If you are an instructor wishing to give these a serious look over and tryout please contact me I can arrange to get you some stuff.
You can view their sticks and specs on the sticks at silverfoxpercussion.com
Silverfox Drumsticks are made in house by hand 1 at a time by Grover Pro Percussion. The staff there is great to deal with. The Marching Artist Relations and Product Development contact is Lee Caron.
off topic their drumset sticks are super amazing they have a full range and their sticks are represented by a lot of touring artist.
As said above I am willing to answer questions here, not debate whos stick is better but answer serious questions.

We play with Silverfox 4S sticks. I personally prefer the classic models. They will seriously build your lines hands. After a few months of playing with them any other marching stick feel like pencils.

depends on the models, The 1005 is lighter by a decimal to a Hardimon and an IP, PR
the 1001 is a beefy stick, but works great has a good feel. Some of the classic models are beefy as well but are all within decimals of an ounce to the competition.
The feel of the weight has more to do with the sticks construction, wood quality, density, and tapers.
Just incase anyone is wondering why i post Silverfox and IP. My Indpendent Line uses all IP and are artist of IP. My High School Ensembles use all Silverfox except indoor the basses use IP.

very consistent with what models i have used. its so consistent that a still great pair with a slight pitch change is noticible. This is ofcoarse buying them online or from factory direct, in the store front where people can mess with the sticks this may differ due to tampering. if you goto their website silverfoxpercussion.com and goto factory tour the last video has this process in it. They do this process by hand for every (1) single stick produced be it drum set or marching. The video as actually about 3 or 4 years old and the process is even more technical now than it is in the video. The sticks are fisrt weight matched then pitch matched.
Also since the video has been made the have a brand new lathe in operation with the old one updated, a new options on the stick stamper, etc...
Per Silverfox Sales Manager today Silverfox will be releasing a new completly redesigned website soon!
In relation to this thread, what would some of you guys like to see or have in a stick from weights, to measures, to tapers, etc.... give me your ideas and I will see if I can get some of the ideas incorporated in the next testing runs.

Aren't the 1001s the old Jim Campbell model when he was there?
I love the power and articulation I get from the Hickory 3S's.
