Just a short little Latin back beat I put together. I'm not great at coming up with Latin groves so I listened to some drum set playing compiled them into my own interpritation. Not terribly difficult except for maybe a few measures but its playable.

Sorry for the crappy sound diddles on the drums. I changed the playback to Marching Band but it still doesn't help.

Yeah, the rim groove is the same as latin lover, and the last measure.

This is usually how i start my stuff. Might sound stupid and ignorant but i always change it to more of my style.

Heres the new one with changed the rim groove and the last measure. And theres even a 3/8+2/8 (or 5/8) section. Yes I know its something strange to march too but it works out so that when the 5/8 ends your leading right again so its all good.

The second version sounded good at first but got repetitive after a while, though the groove sounded better than the first. Hope your band/drumline can march to the 5/8 part.

Here is my 3rd installment and update of it. I think this is the best yet. I took out some of the repetition and made it more interesting.
