I am looking for a clamp and cymbal arm to attach to a keyboard. I do not have a heavy-duty frames or accessory bars on my keyboards so they will have to clamp onto the stock frame. They are Musser instruments: vibe, marimba and xylo. I did some searching on the forum but the links in the older topics are dead and they did not explain exactly what they were linking to. Anyways, any help appreciated.

Greg-

Check out the Tama MCA63EN Fast Clamp Cymbal Arm.

That is the most adjustable and solid arm I've used for boards, but as with any clamp, the stock frame may not have anything you can attach clamps to unless it has those metal posts that hang down underneath the back corners of the frame.

Im not sure how you can attach clamps to the stock frames. We have the jarvis frames on ours and they have the rack bar across. You might think about attaching a rack bar somehow to the keyboards.

Musser has had a few different stand and frame types over the years. Do yours look like one of the following?

M51 Portable Pro Xylophone with Concert Frame

M300 Marimba with Concert Frame and M360 Marimba with Moto-Cart Frame

Musser M55 Vibraphone with Concert and Moto-Cart Frames

Musser M75 Vibraphone with solid wood end panels

If your keyboards have concert frames with legs, you can probably find a clamp that'll grab 'em. The Tama part that snarepaint mentions includes both a clamp and an arm, so it could be a good option. Pearl makes a similar clamp & arm.

Those might not be long enough if you have to clamp to a frame leg, though. In that case, a good adjustable multi-clamp and a boom arm ought to do the trick.

That is the correct frame of the xylo in that first pic. The marimba frame in the second picture is the 360. The vibe frame is the same as the one on the left in the third picture.

I will be picking up a few different clamps this week at the local drum shop to test which ones will work. I am a little concerned that most clamps are meant for clamping onto round cymbal stands, not square frames. Maybe I can rig up some vice clamp setup.

I've used multi-clamps like the Pearl AX25L on square tubing before and they held pretty well. The openings in the clamp were a little bit squared-off and it wasn't hard to situate them to get a good grip.

Getting something attached to your marimba frame might be a little trickier, though. Maybe one of the clamps for Pearl's square-tubed drum set racks (like this one) can clamp to the frame?
