This is my first real cadence. There are only three bass drums because my school is only marching three this year. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

this comment comes to mind before i even download the file: love the name... and after i saw the piece, i thought. hey not bad. good work, just maybe think about some more groove instead of just a bunch of notes. Just my thoughts, but not bad!

I got this. The first section is fine. So is the second section. In fact, everything i hear is ok. Just add a really funky cymbal part, maybe change some of the turn arounds, and some buzzes on the tenors. Also another thing you can do is put some dynamic contrast into the cadence. You'd be surprised at how just a little change can make all the difference in the world!

yeah i agree ^^^ cymbals would add snugglebunny and there could be more posibilities for basses if there were 5 but sick cadence otherwise

Just kidding, great cadence, I enjoyed it.

I noticed you used the first few bars of Kadence in your composition. Any particular reason?

This is a new version of Assaulted by a Tuba.

i added to it and made it a little longer and also wrote it for 5 basses and added a cymbal part. Once again advice/criticism is appreciated.

i am also not sure about how to end it, so feedback on the bass split pyramid is wanted as well.
Enjoy!
