Does it come with everything you need or do you need to buy additional parts if youre buying new drums also? The attachment that we have been using requires J-Rods, and me and my friend have been trying to figure out how to get these harnesses to work. Anyone know how these harnesses work?

well when you buy a tenor carrier you get, the carrier, the backbar and spacers. so you have everything you need to mount the drums. this carrier comes with the tube style back bar in which it just drops into the attachment on the carrier it self. no J rods used.

Its exactly like Pearl's version of the stadium stand. once you have the tube backbar mounted on the tenors you just center the drums and drop them into the adapter.

make sense? its just a gravity fed mount.

So, if you buy a set of tenors, its literally just the drums and the pieces that connect them together? No bar with the mounts for the harness?

just to let you guys know, being a drummer, he meant to hit the rims, it's part of the effect. It changes it up a bit.

With Yamaha and Pearl, the backbar comes with the carrier, not the drums. I wasn't sure about the spacers that connect drum to drum, but multi-Thomm mentioned those come with the carrier, too.

With Dynasty, there's no backbar. The cradle comes with the drums. No assembly required.

depend on the manufacture, I know for a fact Pearl sends it two separate pieces, drums 2 and 4 bolted with and old spacer and drums 1 and 3 bolted with and old spacer. the spock comes separately

Yamaha I think is the same,

When you buy and Randall May(Pearl or Yamaha) tenor carrier you get the bar, the spacers, and the carrier itself.

Dynasty comes assembled as Skydog mentioned. Mapex the carrier is included in the price but you need to assemble it from what i hear. Premier and Ludwig I really don't know.
