If you have any music from the school you are trying to go to, you should practice that probably. If you don't you could go to their website, if they have one with their music on it, or you could contact the school and ask for an audition packet to look over. I don't know if all schools do that, but the ones in my area do it. Just practice everything you can get your hands on!!! Just work hard, and your hard work will pay off in the long run even if you can't get into the line right off. Just keep working on it everyday.

If you could tell us what school maybe someone could give a heads up on what you need to know. For now though work on fundamentals. On the college level things have to be precise, clean and controled.

Like Jonathang said, practice anything and everything you can get your hands on to. Good Luck!!

Continue to be and active member on this forum, and in three months, you will probably rank e3 and be able to view the music in this sites music section.

If you need anything, there are experts who are more than qualified to help you with technique, even down to the screws on a snare strainer. You can find all answers here!

Welcome to the board and good luck warming your chops back up.
