Snarepunk is right. Save some money. Or just forego the gloves altogether. I never have my lines use them. The kids find that the gloves minimize control of the cymbals.

we don't usually wear gloves, and if we do, it's only the cymbal line who does. they usually only use gloves for the thanksgiving parade since it's so cold, and they just use the plain white cotton gloves that the rest of the band uses.

Why would someone need gloves? Not that I ever played cymbals NOT THAT I EVER WANT TO, but you shouldnt need gloves unless you weak. Thats what essay.

You will find yourself wanting gloves in weather like this (30 and below degrees).

Honestly the reason I have worn gloves is to minimize the amout of flesh touching the cymbal to keep them cleaner. Thats better than cleaning the cymbals before every show. Also gloves reduce the caulcues on the hand brought on by straps. but everyone has there own thing

I dont see the point in gloves..
People say it allows for better visuals but I think its more of a comfort issue and trying to keep from getting tough/rough hands
