cav89 Registered: 07/26/03 Loc: Virginia	Beginning in the 1999 season and continuing through the 2001 season, the drumline played the song, #41 by the Dave Matthews Band, on the bus before every show. Not one show was missed through the first three seasons. Assuming you mean DCI Finals and your talking full corps (not drumline placement), there were two corps to achieve that accomplisment in the first championship in 1972. The Kingsmen moved third to first but that does not make them the first corps to do so. The Kilties performed earlier in the evening and moved up two spots from 8th to 6th surpassing the Des Plaines Vanguard and the Troopers. The Kilties placement was announced first so technically they were the first corps to move up two spots in finals. QED! I cheated and looked it up in corpsreps.com.
