Oh sh!ts - When you screw up. We always yell that at people when they mess up.

Con Cojones - With balls

Dirka (dir kuh)- In reference to "Team America: World Police". Instead of doing "Duts" or "Gats", we say "Dirka". Also, with two syllables, it brings out the eighth notes.

ADVERBS!! - Nothing fancy. Whenever someone uses and adverb, we scream it at them, because one of our drumline clinicians does that..a lot.

I beleive a "Flippin' B!tch" is a really hard 180-turn on bass drum. When I say really hard, I mean a one count turn at 176 BPM.

Disgusting - reffering to something that was played perfectly, or just gets you hyped up (also, sick, nasty)

Vamp (verb): To improvise, either as a generic ad lib ("basses, give me a one-bar vamp into this section"), or an entire section; often used in the context of lengthy parades. "let's just vamp on it; trade off between snares and tenors every four bars...."

"Going for the groan" - when a Perc. judge sounds like they are having an orgasm on the tape because of something played.
Orgasmictastic - Something really awesome
Unicorn - Holding sticks to one's forhead in an obvious "I'm horny" way.
Humping - Moving your upper body back and forth (in a 'head-banging' sort of way) during part of the show.

we are rather perverted in Beavercreek.

"Dodging clods of dirt"-when the line is really chucking dirt all over.

Jenkinsed- When the Director's or other faculty member's office is spam attacked with printouts of memetic phrases, or when a drummer from another line is served by members of your line. "Dude, we just Jenkinsed the hell out of Malone's office".

____ Goes To College!- Used as a cheap comeback/cheap insult to a member of another section, or just to be funny. "So what the trumpets are in step, I bet trumpets go to college."

B|tch Seat- The seat which contains the band parent in the Lair.

Lair- The back of the bus, where the percussion section resides. Reffered to as Hell, by danceline and female drum majors. Drummer Seats

Shako's- Band hats with plumes, that never fit, may contain things that aren'ts supposed to be on the field. (Lighters, 'Cellular Devices', etc.) Often used to mark places in the warm up area in competition. (Didn't see this one on there...)

Takething- The acttion of: A) Taking yellow tape or other things that are usually discarded after a competition, that enforces non-existant boundaries. B) Confistacting something from someone else, usually done by a section leader/band captain. "I'll be takething ye Cellphone, if I dost hear it ring in this sacred practice hall!"

Sandy- Used for any bass/cymball player who talks excessivley, doesn't listen, and wears flip-flops to practice. Constantly accused of "Pouring Sand".

"Damn1t Sandy! You keep talking and, it keeps sucking! Shut up!"

Pouring Sand- When "Sandy" or other rookies talk, and it makes no sense, sounds stupid, and is heard above almost everything. When this occurs in plural, it's a "Sandstorm". This term is different from Hourglass.

Hourglass Sand- A clean, in time, perfect roll on ride cymballs.

Rick James- A drummer, from a different battery, who moves to your battery--most likely an upperclassman--who royally sucks, but insists that "they're sh!t hot on snare."
