"Don't suck" ... I've heard that one too many times from our instructor ... I see that "House" isn't on your list ... that's what we call the biggest bass drum, and there's also a Book Report ... apparently it's some weird rudiment consisting of a paradiddle with diddles on the "1" and "a" and a flam on the "&" ...

Eight Factorial...NICE. We call that exercise 867, or occasionally 876.

Snail Shells- Bass drums b/c of what they look like when worn back'erds.

Pregnant Whales- Bass Drummers, b/c of what we look like wearing them

Momma Kangaroos- Snare Players, b/c of what they look like (with the snare coming out of the pouch) the way the harness fits under our uniforms. (looks like to me any way)

Lizards (or Gila Monsters)- Tenor players, b/c of how the drums seem to exaggerate hip size like certain reptiles whose legs stick off the sides of their bodies.

These are some of mine. For more from our 'drumblob' ask DrumsnRoses he's our Drum Major/Co-Drum Captain. Drumblob is one of his, I believe, but it may just have been passed down to him from some of the 'ancient ones' aka 'ghosts' aka alumni.

I agree with all my heart and will defend this flag until my last breath so help me God. Punish me as you will, this is a stand I must take.

Sh*t can - a snare drum
Buddha - the drum instructor
Confucious - the band director, cuz they just confuse the f*uck out of everyone

That's all I got right now, but I'm sure our line will come up with more.
