A tunnel of doom, or what is it called?

When you basically go through a tunnel of some sort and you come out with a different uniform, our winter line is doing it this year and I'm actually quiete unaware of the concept still, lol. For those whove done it, is someone in there ripping off your uniform, or do you do it yourself, I'm just interesting in hearing your stories =)

I've never done one but I've seen something like it. It was a show where the tubas went behind a wall during the show. The had reversible uniforms on and they came out for their solo in a whole different looking uniform.

At a competition we went to a couple months ago, an entire band turned back field during the show and when they turned to face the crowd again the top halves of their uniforms were different colors. The theme of their show was colors or something. Anyway, they we originally grey and their was a triangular flap that was undone, revealing various colors. the different sections sported different colors. it was really a very good visual.

Santa Clara used "quick-change" tunnels in several of their 80s shows. 84 and 85, I know (during Festive Overture). Possibly 87, maybe?

SCV also used it this past summer during their Scheherazade show, but it was only for one guard member.
