When i first got it, i didn't think much of it. But now i don't really know if it's popular or not. A friend of my mine bought this pad for me for my B-day last year. It's called The Rudi-Pad made by Contos Productions. It has the " standard 26 american drum rudiments " printed on it. It is made out of the same material a mouse pad is made out of except it's 1/4" thick and 9" across. Has anybody else here ever heard of it or used one?

I've never heard of one, but that sounds like a good idea...I might have to get one because I wanted a new pad anyways. I'm getting annoyed with the CB I have.
Do you know where your friend got it?

Before you rush out and by a pad, I'd reccommend looking around at some others. Personally I'd reccomend the RealFeel double-sided or the heavy hitter stock or slim pad. There are some reviews in the reviews section and I'm sure you'll find some stuff if you search ;-).

Best of Luck,
Baker

Definetly....I've actually got the RealFeel and a vicfirth with a HH laminate(had it laying around haha). I love the combination of both because the one with the laminate give you the feel of a kevlar snare, and the double-sided RealFeel is GREAT for workouts.

I already have a CB, and I don't really like it. And then I use my instructor's HH at school during class and he lets me take that one home to practice with it. After I get a job, I'm going to get my own, though. :P I have to use all my money to pay for indoor stuff. (Bah)

I havn't tried out the HH pads, but I have a single-sided Real Feel. I love it, personally. The whole "mouse-pad" style thing. If you mean the Material of the Pad, then I don't suggest it. Mouse-pad material SUCKS, in my opinion.

The "rudipad" is just a mousepad...but with rudiments on it.

Go to a best buy and get a $2 pad if you really want something of the same quality and just print out the rudiments from www.pas.org for reference.
