i am putting my eyes on vic firth american custom m6, m7 and m61 bell mallets for my line. BUt i dont know which one is the best to get. I need a clear sound of bell becos there is a solo of it and also the speed. Any advice?

If it is for the marching arena, the American Custom series is not the way to go. Since you are a fan of the Firth line, I suggest the Corpsmasters M61. The Lexan mallets are loud, so make sure that the players wear 5-10 dB ear plugs, otherwise, damage will occur. Also, buy a few extra pairs, as the fiberglass might break in the middle of the season.
