Snare: 1) Pearl 2) Dynasty 3) Yamaha Pearl snares only win because they have the carbonply snares, otherwise it would be a tie between Pearl and Dynasty.
Tenors: 1) Dynasty 2) Yamaha 3) Pearl Dynasty tenors are just amazing, great mounting system, great sound, and very durable. Pearl tenors sound to "tubby" for my taste.
Bass: 1)Pearl 2) Dynasty 3) Yamaha Pearl basses always seem nice and deep, yet still articulate. This is the closest category because all of the companies make great bass drums (and great drums in general, for that matter).
Cymbals: 1) Sabian 2) Zildjian My instructor would kill me if he read this, but I just prefer the sound of Sabian cymbals. To me they are a bit more lively and bright that Zildjian cymbals, which is what I think cymbals should sound like.
If I had to choose one brand, it would be Dynasty. Their tenors are the best by far, and their snares and basses are good to. I just don't like the sound of Yamaha snares and Pearl's tenors are just too deep for my tastes.

Snare: Remo - Constant breaking keeps you busy on your drums. You will always have a close relationship with this drum.
Tenors: Premier - The Free floating tenors are drums for the gods! They have such a crisp clean perfect sound as long as you tune them every 15 seconds. A small price to pay for this instrument.
Bass: Andante - The free floating bass drums help for a high tension tuning scheme. You can do perfect diddles on Bass 5!
Cymbals: Paiste High hats - I like these because for cadences, you get the perfect high hat sound! And for crashes you get that interesting Broken China sound. Very unique.

i thought you were joking at first...
Hahahahah. I am joking dude. lol.
Snares: Pearl - They have a nice fat but still crisp sound if tuned just right. Very unique to my ears.
Tenors: I would have to say its a tie between Dynasty and Pearl. I like the sound of dynasty drums, yet they are a tad bit unresonant for me. Pearls are the perfect resonance for my taste. But the rack for the drums isnt very practical in my mind. And Dynasty I think has gotten the whole cradle thing perfectly.
Basses: Remo - just kidding. =]
I have to say pearl wins this as well. I have heard many a better sounding bassline made from pearls then from any other company. Agreed, it all has to do with tuning. But this is just from what I have heard.
Sorry if you thought my spoof post was real. =]
