I'm a Senior at our Highschool this year but this is my first year on the line. Now, i just started playing snare about a year ago but, im better than a lot of the people on our line because i was taught the right technique where as, they wern't. I don't want to say anything to them about it because they wouldn't listen to me because they all think they are GOD when, they are pretty much horrible. What do i do to make them aware that their technique dosn't match up with other people and that cleaning it up would help their playing tremendiously?

Video tape them, and show them how they play. Then show them a clip or two of a drumline with excellent technique (i.e.- SCV or the Blue Devils). Unless they are totally ignorant, then they will realize that their own technique needs improving on, and they'll find a way to fix it.

I agree, they probably are so full of themselves that you couldn't tell them anything...so...let them see for themselves. That videotape thing was a good idea, Tenortoad. See, that is why we pay you the big bucks!
