I think it was flammed ratamacues...or maybe flammed heirta's. I don't really know right off the top. It's just the said rudiment with a flam in the first note.

we're still not sure...our BD hasn't given us the music yet. he's an ex woodwind, not a huge fan of the drumline.

You're from Brookhaven, drums4life? Awesome. You're about 10 miles south of me. Send me a pm sometime. Anyway, we don't know what's going to be in our music yet. The drum instructor from our local community college is writing our music to spice it up, hopefully.

This year our most used rudiment is flam drags. Just flam drags, flam drags...and more flam drags, with a few cheeses and flam fives to mix it up..flam drags in eighth notes, in triplets..but basicly I'm going to be living, eating, and breathing flam drags for this next season.

Lucky! I'm the only one in our drumline that even knows what flam drags, cheeses, and flam fives, much less the only one that can play them. Our drumline usually has a bunch of 8th note cymbal ride with the same fill all the way through the song, and the fills are only 16th notes with accents and 8th note/16th note combinations. I HATE OUR MUSIC!!!

I think single stroke rolls will be the most popular.
